Cala Group is a major housebuilder operating across Scotland, the Midlands and South East England. Cala recently had a need to re-induct its entire site team and to manage operatives across multiple sites after updating the guidance on their ways of working.
With around 80 sites operational at any time, new safety measures and thousands of workers across the county, it would have been a huge undertaking to complete inductions in a traditional face-to-face environment. Inductions needed to move online, quickly, and be tracked by management teams.
Cala Group, with the support of the One.site team, built their inductions on the One.site app and rolled it out across all sites. All invited people were able to log in to the cloud based application and watch the induction video and answer a series of questions. Cala then had full visibility at a site and group level of who had completed their induction and when.
